Internships

I have been fortunate enough to gain professional sports experience by means of two separate internships, one with the Minnesota Vikings and the other for the athletic department of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.

Fan Engagement Intern

I have worked as a Fan Engagement Intern for the Minnesota Vikings twice, during Training Camp in the summers of 2021 and 2022, respectively. This position calls for excellent customer service, marketing skills, and enthusiasm for the culture of the organization.

I've worked with some incredible people, including teams of over 25 interns with two managers. This position helped me strengthen my networking skills as well as form relationships with ambitious people like myself.

With the Vikings, I aided in marketing activities, helped set up training camp, engaged with fans, and provided the quality SKOL Customer Service that the Vikings value highly.

Sports Information Correspondent

I acted as Sports Information Correspondent for the athletic department of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota throughout the 2022-23 school year. My role was drastically different from that of my internship with the Minnesota Vikings.

I specialized in writing and editing game summaries and feature stories about the athletics events on campus. My stories were then published on the university's athletic website and made public.

I've learned a lot about how to write in different styles of writing for different types of sports, as well as how to create and edit a compelling story.
